Our Work

Robotic Apple Packing

The Robotic Apple Packing Cell (RAPC) will mechanise packing apples into trays for packhouses worldwide. RPL currently has strong international demand and support for this technology directly from packhouses as well as large international installers. In September, RPL secured joint funding through Callaghan Innovation to support further development and take the system through to commercialisation.

Multipurpose Orchard Robotics

Robotics Plus is addressing the growing labour shortages within horticulture globally.  The kiwifruit harvester represents an innovative shift in automated harvest technology to supplement the manual labour force. Although the harvester is still a prototype, is has been independently assessed as state-of-the-art by US based experts.

QuadDuster

QuadDuster™ is an assistive broad application kiwifruit pollination system, developed for our sister company Pollen Plus Ltd, with application services delivered by AgFirst. The CAD designed stainless steel volutes evenly distribute dry kiwifruit pollen into the flowering canopy in a very controlled way to help remove human variability and increase application efficiency, ultimately increasing flower pollination and crop yield.
