Robotics Plus Ltd emerged from the need to solve the growing challenges in the global primary industries such as: labour shortages, sustainability for growers, pollination gaps and yield security.

Packing apples is a labour intensive task for packhouses around the world. The labour to fulfil this role is often difficult to find, which can jeopardise the produce if it is not packed in time. This is how we resolved it.
Unmanned Ground Vehicle.
The ‘Multipurpose Orchard Robotics’ project is a four year collaboration between Robotics Plus Ltd, University of Auckland, University of Waikato and Plant and Food Research aiming to automate the harvesting and pollination of kiwifruit and apples.
